Canon's new digital cameras now offer a Live High Definition viewing mode.
You can now view and focus your slit lamp on a HD TV monitor.
II. PHOTO FLASH SLIT LAMP
Carolina Ophthalmics can also upgrade 35mm photo flash slit lamp to digital.

III. P66 DIGITAL PHOTO FLASH SLIT LAMP
Carolina Ophthalmics also offers our own, new photo flash slit lamp.
The P66 digital photo flash slit lamp was designed and built specially for us.
There are 4 unique features that a true photo slit lamp has compared to upgrading a normal slit lamp to do basic photography.
These features are:
| 40X Magnification for capturing cellular level information | |
| FLASH UNIT which only fires when the photo is being taken opposed to background illuminators which are always shinning in the patients eye. | |
| DIFFUSER LENS - this allows light to be diffused when taking full aperture photos and eliminates the hotspots and bulb filament reflection | |
| NEUTRAL DENSITY FILTERS - which are used to vary the filtering of light needed for different exposure types in digital photography |
